5. We calculate the payout and pay the winner by bank transfer.

Verification & Cash Prize Calculation

This prize is paid as cash. To keep things fair and transparent, the winner must provide reasonable evidence of their electricity costs (a recent electricity bill is fine).

How we calculate your payout:

• We use the provided proof to determine your annual electricity cost (or a reasonable annualised amount based on the bill/statement supplied).
• Your cash payout will be the lower of your evidenced annual electricity cost or £1,500.

Example: if your proof shows £1,050 per year, you receive £1,050. If it shows £1,820 per year, you receive the maximum payout of £1,500.

• The prize is a cash payment made by bank transfer to the winner.

• If verification is not provided, payout will be delayed until received.
• The maximum payout is capped at £1,500.
• Postal entries are available and receive the same odds as paid entries.
